Join researchers from across Europe to learn about entrepreneurship and extend your professional networks
Meet inspirational guest speakers, including sector experts and entrepreneurs, who can provide valuable insights into the process of research commercialisation. Hosted by the University of Glasgow the event will include a tour of BioCity Glasgow (Scotland’s Life Sciences incubator) as well as talks and practical activities to help you learn about different business models in the life sciences sector, how to protect your ideas and where to get funding and support. You will have the unique opportunity to gain advice from start-up CEOs, entrepreneurs, Marketing, HR and IP experts. There will be plenty of opportunity to network with industry leaders from across Europe, as well as postdocs from across Europe working both in Industry and Academia. By participating in this event, you will have a better understanding of what motivates you and increased confidence and know how on how to turn your ideas into reality.
The Enterprise Fair is a mixture of practical activities and case studies as well as talks from experts and entrepreneurs with inspiring stories and first hand experience of bringing exciting ideas to life. Our speakers will share their knowledge of:

A limited number of places are available and attendance is by application only.
Travel and registration bursaries are available to postdocs/junior researchers from p2i partner institutions (*) travelling from outside of Glasgow to cover the full cost of travel, dinner and bed and breakfast and Enterprise Fair registration. Postdocs need to be available for travel on 19th-21st November 2018.
