This form is solely for the application by a course instructor for HPC access for multiple course participants.

If you wish to apply for individual access as a member of a research group, please use this form instead.

Please observe the following points:

  • In order for the access to be set up in time, please apply at least one week before it will be needed.
  • After the application has been received access will normally be set up on the same or the next working day and a confirmation mail will be sent to  <your FU account name>@zedat.fu-berlin.de. An email will also be sent to the adresss <FU account name>@zedat.fu-berlin.de  for each person you have registered. We shall also send other information to these addresses and so it is therefore imperative that you and all participants read such mail regularly..
  • If during the course personal data will be used on the HPC system, you must ensure that the necessary protective measures are taken.  We can help you with this.

Personal data are data which are related to a specific person.  This includes information such as names, addresses, dates of birth, as well as sensitive data such as medical data or data regarding ethnicity.  It is not a question of whether you own the data or not, but one regarding the content of the data.
